An Islamic Unity Week conference in Iran's consulate in Herat, Afghanistan.

Islamic Unity Week (Farsi: هفته وحدت; Haft-e-Vahdat) is marked between 12th to 17th Rabi al-Awwal on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad. This period in which Muslims ponder on the fundamental call of unity according to the Holy Qur'an was proposed by Ayatullah Montzeri, following the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979. This dynamic concept aims to bring all Muslim schools of thought on the common platform of Islamic unity.
